Girl Scout Farm Day

A few weeks ago our troop went to UC Davis and visited their small farm. The college girls were great. They had set up many activities for the girls to do, including flipping a sheep.(I don't know how happy the sheep was...lol) The girls had a great time.

Happy 10th Birthday, Kyleigh!!!

It's hard to believe that our "baby"is ten!!! Where does the time go? What a great ten years it has been. I feel so lucky to be her mom. She is such a loving and smart girl. She is so fun to be around. I am looking forward to many more decades with this girl and all the fun adventures we will have together!
We love you Kyleigh and are so proud that you are our daughter!

New dress for Kit

Kyleigh got a special package in the mail today. It was from her Grandma Sandra. She had made an outfit for Kyleigh's American Girl doll! Kyleigh was very excited and mom was very impressed on how well it was made. Thanks Grandma, you made Kyleigh's day!

Welcome Home!!!

Kyleigh and I flew in very late last night. Lee was already in bed but had left us each a bouquet of flowers. It was very sweet. I must add that the house was immaculate as well! It was obvious that he missed us. We missed him too.

Trip to SoCal

Here are a few pic's of my trip to SoCal. Kyleigh and I were able to stay for more than a week and got to visit my long time friends Cindy and Christina. It was so great to catch up. I have more pic's but here a a few to start. This is Christina, Cindy and I when we went wine tasting in Temecula, Ca. What a fun girls day!

American Girl doll!

Kyleigh's main gift was her American Girl doll. She hasn't been into dolls before this, but apparently this is a big deal with girls her age. She was very surprised that she got it. I had told her there was no way we were buying it for her!

Lee and his new Broncos jersey!

Too bad they weren't better this year :(

Froggy Pajamas! Is there a better gift???

Kyleigh saved up her own allowance and bought our presents this year. It was so sweet. And, who wouldn't want a pair of pink jammies with frogs on them??? Plus pink slippers to match!

Christmas Pic's

Sorry that it has been awhile.. here are a few pic's from Christmas. It was small this year. We had my dad over for Christmas Eve(no pic's) and then opened our gifts later that night as well. Lee had to work on Christmas day.

Gingerbread House

Lee and Kyleigh decided to make a gingerbread house today. It was a Girl Scout project that Kyleigh missed since we were in Tahoe. She was planning on doing it up there, but decided to wait until she got home. It was fun and delicious!
